Staging Environment Account Requirements

When the App is installed in a Shopify store it will check the stores setup to ascertain whether it qualifies as Live Store or Staging Store so that we do not breach Shopifys App Polices.

We will check

  • If the store is Development store if so the app will install as a Staging Environment
  • If Its a paid account and has .myshopify.com as the main domain + the store is password protected we will set it as a staging Environment

For a Staging Environment to be able to be connected to a Live Store the Store Name field in the Staging Environment must match that of the live store.

If the store is Live store the app will detect this and force the app into a Live store configuration

NB: If a staging store is upgraded to a live account we will remove all the products Sync'd with the app and the connection will be removed.

If a connection between a live and staging store is removed then we will remove the sync'd products from the staging environment
